Call for Papers
Our Call for Presentations (CFP) is open now until January 8th. Please submit your proposals via our CFP portal. We invite speakers from all experience levels, from introductory to advanced topics in information security.
Conference Tracks:
- Red Track (Offensive) – Focused on offensive security tactics and tools, hosted at Liberty Hall.
- Blue Track (Defensive) – Focused on defensive methods and tools, located at Mockingbird Theater.
With only 12 speaking slots available, we're looking for presentations that educate, inform, and bring new insights to the field. Each talk should be no longer than 45 minutes, allowing time for questions if desired.
Guidelines for Speakers:
- No Vendor Talks: We emphasize education, not product pitches.
- In-Person Only: All speakers must present live at the event.
- Non-Recorded Sessions: Talks will not be recorded, allowing attendees to engage openly.
Blind Review Process:
BSides Nashville uses a blind review process to reduce bias. Please avoid including personal details in your talk description unless it directly pertains to your topic.
Review Criteria:
- Topic Relevance: We prioritize topics that offer new insights or address current challenges in security.
- Content Clarity: Proposals should be organized, clear, and offer practical takeaways.
- Respect for Blind Review: Avoid personal identifiers in your proposal to keep the focus on content.
Travel and Accommodation:
Due to limited resources, speakers will need to self-fund travel and lodging, though we may provide discounted rates at nearby hotels.
We’re excited to see your ideas. Whether you’re bringing a fresh perspective, sharing an approach, or telling a story, it’s speakers like you that make BSides Nashville so special. 💖
